  • Flexibility: Corrections and additions may be made as required.
  • Large capacity fields for additional data such as notes or observations ensure that users have no concerns about the amount of data which may be entered.
  • Users may easily view all of their data contribution, previous observations or results may be seen in context and sequence.
  • Referential Integrity: Allows for Database Normalisation so that data may be transmitted to any relational database model such as Oracle SQL server etc.

  • Data entered MUST be accurate: As data is entered, it may be compared against specified parameters and if an error is found, a warning to the user will be shown. Typically the user would be given the option to continue or to adjust data in cases where the data lies outside expected parameters but may nevertheless be correct.
  • Completeness: All required fields may be checked for entries and the user warned when data is incomplete. Records thus incomplete may be selected easily for later completion when data becomes available.
